During my recent stay at Gecko Bungalows, I found a tranquil retreat that caters to those seeking relaxation without straying too far from the vibrant atmosphere of Nusa. As a tea plantation owner in Galle, I appreciate spaces that marry natural beauty with comfort, and this hotel certainly offers that. The bungalows are well-maintained and provide essential amenities, including a mini bar stocked at reasonable prices, and complimentary Wi-Fi. My private balcony offered serene views of the garden, making it an oasis for morning tea. What truly stood out was the dedicated staff. Joni and his team ensured my comfort, easily arranging activities like snorkeling and motorbike hire. I particularly enjoyed the saltwater swimming pool, perfect for cooling off after a day of exploration. While the beach nearby may not be the finest, the hotel's location provides quick access to local eateries and offers a quieter ambiance. I found peace in the sound of nature, content with the temperate setting and attentive service. For visitors wanting a genuine escape, Gecko is a fitting option to consider.
